Oooh, this is a bit scary but exciting - my first blog. Anyway, thought I would have a go - just returned from a week living in luxury on the shores of Loch Ness and apart from some time spent searching for the Beastie the team members did a little ghosthunting at the Culloden battlefield. Nessie wasn't seen although several mornings there were some unusual wet footprints around the bins! Tonight we host our 1st ghostwalk (two 1st's in one day!). Although many town and cities already have ghostwalks but up here on the Wirral we don't - yet. Tonite is a trial run for the local council youth service and if all goes well it may be available to all in the near future. Tomorrow is Halloween and we are joining forces with Richard Felix for some fun at the 'haunted' Hex nightclub in Birkenhead. The location has featured on Discovery channel and also in the recent book "Ghosthunters" by Ciaran O'Keeffe and Yvette Fielding (co-starring Para.Science). The nightclub has been the scene of some of the most unusual activity we have seen to date - read the book! But I am sure that the strangest things are set to happen this Halloween! STP

Slightly on a tangent, but Comet Swan has gone a bit bananas, and is now 4 times brighter than it was the other week. Which means you can see it with the naked eye! So anyone who's interested can look to the west, about half way up (that's for people living in the UK) tonight, and hopefully see something. I'm currently dusting the telescope off, and will have a look just after I've watched the space station go past (just before 20:08pm tonight, for anyone in the north west of england).
Oh, did I mention that Para.Science are astronomy nerds as well........

OK let's have a go at doing a blog! Beats writing the essay I need to do for uni.......
I won't post anything interesting until I'm sure this is working, I'd hate to go to a lot of trouble for nothing!
Anyway, for anyone who gets this far, the website was updated yesterday with one new article (SPR conference 2006) and some more investigations (Most Haunted, Ghost Hunters book, infrasound on the Discovery Channel (starring Para.Science of course!), and Borley Rectory). Any broken bits, let me know cos I'm bound to have missed something!
